Technology for Education
Kamiel Group of Kenya is bridging the digital divide in under-resourced schools like Sower Education Centre by integrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into classrooms. This initiative gives learners exposure to computers, digital literacy, and the internet — tools that are essential for academic and economic empowerment.
What We’ve Achieved
Installed 10 desktop computers and 2 laptops in a dedicated tech room
Trained teachers to plan lessons, generate reports, and access digital teaching resources
Piloted ICT basics for upper primary students (Grades 5–8) using Kenya’s CBC (Competency-Based Curriculum) framework
“Our approach is always grassroots-first: we listen, we co-create, and we grow together.”
